Learning about the existence of the Lazarus pits from during his tenure with the Suicide Squad, Zod took a shrunken city full of dead Kryptonians and dunked it in the mystic waters. While others have used the pits to cheat death on occasion, Superman's foe General Zod just attempted something crazy, even by his standards.
